2026 Downtown Residents Recreation Needs Survey

The City of Calgary is exploring recreation, wellness and social programming opportunities for residents living in Calgary's greater downtown communities including the Downtown Core, 17th Avenue, 4th Street, Chinatown, Downtown West, East Village, Eau Claire, Beltline and Victoria Park. Your feedback will help us better understand downtown community needs and identify recreation programs, services and activities that support residents of all ages and backgrounds.

This survey will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete and will be open for responses until November 3, 2026. Upon completion of the survey, eligible participants will be asked if they would like to be entered into a draw to win one (1) of four (4) Downtown Calgary gift cards valued at $75 which can be used at a variety of downtown businesses. If you wish to be entered into the draw, you will be taken to a separate form to provide your contact information. Your contact information will not be connected to your survey responses. You may only enter the draw once. Multiple submissions will not be considered.

The personal information collected in this survey is done under the authority of section 4 (c) of the Protection of Privacy Act and is used to provide guidance to The City of Calgary when it comes to making decisions regarding City services and programming.
